As Christians, we give in response to the incredible grace God has shown us and the indescribable gift of his Son, Jesus. Our giving is one way we can bless others, meet the needs of God’s people and play our part in sharing the love of Jesus.
Giving is also an expression of trust and obedience. When we give, we recognise that ultimately it is God, rather than ourselves or anyone else, who provides for all that we need.
 

Our giving should never be something we feel pressured into. Instead, God calls us to give willingly and joyfully:

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
- 2 Corinthians 9:7
 

We’re incredibly grateful for every gift, whatever the amount and however it is given. If you’re part of Flavel Church and are in a position to give financially, we’d love you to consider setting up a regular monthly gift.
